Electrical Inspections

Inspection of the electrical system of a house is of major importance.  We thoroughly check the entirety of the system from the service drop (where the lines enter the home), through the meter, the main panel, through any sub panels, and out to the branch systems.
A representative number of receptacles and switches are tested for correct polarity and function, and all GFCI receptacles are tested for functionality.

Older homes may contain knob and tube wiring, an obsolete form of electrical transmission through a house.   The presence of knob and tube should be noted, and further investigation as to its extent throughout the house should be undertaken by a licensed electrician.
